Terms of use

The short version

justwanted is a noticeboard. People post what they want, other people offer to help, and the two of them sort out the rest between themselves. We provide the board; we are not a party to any deal made on it.

Using the service

• You must be 18 or over and give accurate details when you register. You are responsible for anything done under your account, so keep your password to yourself.
• The service is free. We do not charge listing fees or take a cut of anything agreed between users.
• We may suspend or remove accounts or content that break these terms, and we may change or withdraw the service at any time.

What you can post

Only post wants and offers that are genuine and lawful. Do not post anything that is illegal to buy or sell in the UK, infringes someone else’s rights, is discriminatory, abusive or misleading, or is spam. Photos must be yours to use. We can remove any content at our discretion.

Deals between users

Any agreement to buy, sell or provide a service is between you and the other user. We do not vet users, verify offers, hold money or handle delivery, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of anything offered, or for whether either side keeps their word. Please take sensible precautions: meet in a public place, inspect goods before paying, use payment methods with buyer protection, and never send money to someone you have not dealt with. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to display it on the site and in notification emails for as long as it is posted, which is all we need to run the service.

Liability

We provide the service as it is, without promises that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from dealings with other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts there have jurisdiction. The service is provided by IN2PROGRESS LTD (company number 16143235). Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms.
